Supply Chain Management Process Videos

GoAnimate (Vyond) video

This project was designed for the employees to apply the correct process when procuring goods and services from service providers.

• Responsibilities: Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Video Editing, and Visual Design
• Tools used: GoAnimate (Vyond), iMovie, Filmora.

Problem: 

Employees found it challenging to implement policies, regulations and the application of standard operating procedures for the procurement of goods and services. This was due to the complexity thereof.

Proposed Solution:

Creating scenarios using animated videos to demonstrate the various policies and processes. This helped employees learn new skills and deal with similar situations.

Process:

To determine which process should be addressed first, I asked management which procurement process was prone to error. The Supply Chain unit and the Internal Control unit provided assistance in creating the scenario. This helped to guarantee that the storyline was plausible. I also incorporated additional documents, such as the company's policies and applicable regulations, into the scenario. From the discussions, I created a dialogue for the story driven scenarios which was then transformed into Vyond (GoAnimate) scenes.

Prototype:

After rendering the first version of the video, I collected feedback from the Supply Chain management and Internal control unit and improved the dialogue as well as it visual appearance. I then used iMovie/Filmora to slow down and add subtitles. The subtitles assisted in providing further clarity and helped sustain the viewers concentration.

Outcome:

The employees enjoyed and appreciated the new way that the company communicate its new regulations and policies.
